The technology utilized by Fuel Makers allows for flexibility in the choice of renewable energy that can be produced.
The first stage of the production cycle is the production of synthesis gas (hereinafter referred to as syngas), which contains hydrogen, oxygen and carbon, the building blocks of biofuel.
At the second stage of the production cycle, various types of biofuels may be produced depending on the catalyst, pressure and temperature levels:
• Alcohols • Hydrocarbon Fuels & Industrial Chemicals • Electricity
In addition to making liquid fuels, the syngas from the gasifier can be used either directly to fuel a reciprocating engine generator or used to drive a steam turbine.
The technology Fuel Makers utilizes also allows for the production of several other types of products that can potentially be produced as well; these products are currently under research to improve purity levels.
